The total cost of ownership is indicated by the red line, based on pages printed per month for years.

The total cost of ownership is based on the purchase cost of the hardware plus the ongoing costs of ink/toner. Other costs may influence the total cost of ownership and could lead to further savings, such as additional consumables used by laser printers and power consumption. The average selling price of the printers and consumables were obtained from the IDC EMEA Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker (Data Q2 2016 – Q1 2017) and IDC EMEA Consumables Tracker (Data H1 2016, H2 2016).
